Eanes ISD hosted Space Science Night to support the students participating in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP). The event showcased the students’ experiments and all student mission patches entered in the contest. The two patches that won will accompany the winning Eanes ISD experiment to the International Space Station (ISS) were also announced. The event featured hands-on astronomy activities for students, including an inflatable planetarium and telescopes set up outside for viewing the planets. Retired astronaut Marsha Ivins was the keynote speaker.
